Gramsci wrote this from prison in the 1930s, watching the rise of fascism, the collapse of old systems, and the deep confusion of a world between paradigms. He called it “the time of monsters.”

Lena Rodriguez mentioned this quote on a livestream and isn’t that so fitting?

So what do we do?

We ground.
We go inwards.
We regulate our own nervous systems.
We stop feeding the field with even more fear.

Because we don’t birth a new world through outrage, and fear. That’s what feeds the “monster”.
We birth it through clarity, and coherence.
Doing the best we can in every given moment.
It’s working or confronting our own inner demons and shadows. It’s about witnessing and holding space way more than trying to force and control outcomes.
Ultimately it’s about taking your power back.
And standing in our inner Authority.

🌊 I took a walk on the beach the other night.

The kind of night that is peaceful…

I was listening to Sasha Riley telling his story — a raw, brutal, heart-wrenching story of what he survived as a child. Human depravity in full detail. And I chose to keep listening.

Not to consume pain.
But to witness it.

Because if children have to endure this… the least I can do is listen to it.

What a weird juxtaposition — listen to something deeply disturbing while walking barefoot in absolute beauty. Sky painted in pastels. The rhythm of the waves.

To feel the pain and still see beauty.

To hold space without drowning in the story.

It took me years to get here — to not collapse, to not disassociate, to not feel hot rage and anger.

We can build the muscle to stay open. To witness with reverence, not reactivity.

This is the leadership we need.

Coherence in the chaos.
Resonance instead of reaction.
Power without protection mode.
